Terms & Conditions of Sale – Season 2026

1) Booking Conditions

A booking becomes effective only after:

  • receipt of the deposit (30%) and the booking fees; and
  • either receipt of the duly completed and signed booking contract, or online acceptance of the General Terms & Conditions of Sale at the time of booking; and
  • validation of the booking by our team (confirmation email).

Bookings are binding only once accepted by us, subject to availability. We offer stays intended for traditional family holidays; accommodations are designed for this purpose. We reserve the right to refuse any booking that is contrary to, or aims to circumvent, this principle.

The booking of a pitch or a rental is strictly personal. Subletting or transferring the booking without prior written consent is prohibited.

Only one family (same surname, same address) per pitch. If several families succeed one another on the same pitch, one booking per family is required.

The names and dates of birth of all persons occupying the rental or pitch must be provided.

Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians. Unaccompanied minors, even with parental authorization, are not accepted.

Booking fees: €19 per pitch booking and €30 per rental booking.

No reduction is granted in the event of late arrival or early departure.

Pitch preference: you may indicate a preferred sector; we will do our best to accommodate it, with no guarantee of the exact pitch.

Camping Pitches

The basic package includes the pitch for a tent, caravan or motorhome for 2 people (up to 6 maximum), electricity, access to sanitary facilities and reception infrastructures.

Rentals

Rental accommodations are equipped. The maximum capacity varies depending on the accommodation type (from 2 to 10 people, as stated in the description).
We reserve the right to refuse access to groups or families presenting themselves with numbers exceeding the capacity of the rental booked.


2) Group Bookings

Any booking of more than 4 rentals made by the same individual or by people who know each other and travel together, for the same dates and the same purpose, is considered a group booking.

For any group request, please contact us by phone or email so we can review it before acceptance or refusal.
— Group booking and cancellation terms are specific and will be set out in a separate contract.


3) Prices and Tourist Tax

Prices are valid for the 2026 season, per night, in euros, VAT included (rate in force).

The amount of the tourist tax and the eco-contribution is set by the local authority and may vary from year to year; both are paid in full to the competent municipality/community.


4) Payment Terms

  • Bookings > 30 days before arrival: 30% deposit payable within 10 days of booking. The balance must be paid no later than 30 days before arrival.
  • Bookings ≤ 30 days before arrival: full payment at the time of booking.

In the event of non-payment of the deposit (within 10 days) or of the balance (no later than 30 days before arrival), we reserve the right to cancel the booking and put the unit back on sale.

Accepted payment methods: bank card, bank transfer, ANCV Connect, cash, cheque.
Any bank charges related to a foreign transfer are payable by the client.


5) Discounts

Any discounts cannot be combined with other promotions. They apply to a consecutive stay on the same pitch or in the same rental and only for persons present for the entire duration of the stay.

  • Best price guaranteed! If you find a lower price on our website for the same accommodation on the same dates, we refund the difference.
  • Total flexibility: cancel or modify your stay free of charge up to D-60.
  • €50 deposit only to secure your 2026 stay. Pay the remaining 30% of the deposit before 31/12/25.

How does the Sunêlia card work?

  • When you first join, the dematerialised Sunêlia loyalty card is offered for 2 years.
  • As a club member, you earn 1 point per €10 spent.
  • When your card expires, keep your points by renewing your subscription.
  • The card is valued at €35 and valid for 2 years.
  • From subscription: booking fees waived.
  • From 300 points: –5% on a low-season stay.
  • From 400 points: –5% on a high-season stay.
  • From 800 points: one free week in low season.
  • Plus advantages varying by destination.

6) No Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the sale of accommodation services provided on a specific date is not subject to the legal 14-day right of withdrawal.


7) Cancellations & Modifications

7.1. Reservation made directly with the campsite without Cancellation Guarantee

(On-site, by telephone, or via the campsite’s website)

In the absence of a Cancellation Guarantee, any cancellation results in the application of the following conditions:

  • Up to 60 days (D-60) before the start date of the stay:
    The cancellation of the stay gives rise to the refund of the deposit paid, with deduction of booking fees (if invoiced at the time of reservation according to the pricing conditions in force).

  • Between D-60 and D-15 before the start date of the stay:
    The cancellation results in the total loss of the deposit paid. The balance of the stay is not due.

  • Less than 15 days (D-15) before the start date of the stay:
    The total amount of the stay remains due. No refund may be made, regardless of the cause of cancellation.

Any cancellation must be notified in writing to the campsite (registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt or email). The date of receipt of the request shall prevail.

Depending on the situation and the cause of cancellation, the campsite may, on a purely commercial basis and without obligatory character, propose an alternative solution, subject to availability, such as:

  • postponement of the stay within the same calendar year,

  • issuance of a credit note valid for a later stay in the following year.

In this case, supporting documents may be requested from the client. No alternative solution is guaranteed and this does not constitute a right for the client.

7.2. Reservation made directly with the campsite with Cancellation Guarantee

(On-site, by telephone, or via the campsite’s website)

The Cancellation Guarantee is a paid service corresponding to 5% of the total amount of the stay. It must be subscribed to at the time of reservation and may under no circumstances be added later.

With the Cancellation Guarantee, the client may cancel the stay at any time, including after the beginning of the stay, according to the following terms:

  • Up to D-60 before the start date of the stay:
    Refund by bank transfer on the following calculation basis:
    Total amount of the stay + supplements + tourist taxes paid – booking fees – amount of the Cancellation Guarantee.
    No supporting document is required.

  • From D-60 until the end of the stay:
    The refund is granted solely in the event of occurrence of one of the following events, upon presentation of supporting documents:

    • Serious illness, bodily accident, or death of the client, spouse (legal or common-law), ascendants or descendants, guardian, brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, sons-in-law and daughters-in-law, parents-in-law.

    • Medical complications related to pregnancy.

    • Serious damage affecting more than 50% of the principal residence or professional premises (theft, fire, water damage, natural events), upon certificate from the insurer.

    • Economic dismissal of the client or spouse, when the procedure is subsequent to the reservation.

    • Refusal or modification of leave by the employer, upon presentation of an official certificate.

Any claim for compensation must be sent by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt, accompanied by supporting documents, as soon as the event occurs and no later than within 3 working days.

When cancellation occurs after the start of the stay, the refund is calculated pro rata of unused nights, according to the same calculation basis.

7.3. Reservation made via a commercial partner or tour operator

For any reservation made with a partner (Sunêlia, Campings.com, Maeva.com, Vacances Select, Pitchup, etc.), the general terms and conditions of the concerned provider apply exclusively. The campsite may under no circumstances substitute itself for the provider.

7.4. Modification of stay

Any request for modification of stay must be made in writing (email or registered letter).

  • Modifications are possible up to D-60 before the start date of the stay, subject to availability.

  • The modified stay must comply with pricing rules and constraints applicable to the new selected dates.

The price of the new stay is recalculated on the basis of rates in force on the date of the modification request:

  • If the new stay is more expensive, the difference is borne by the client.

  • If the new stay is less expensive, the campsite shall refund the difference.


8) Your Stay

Arrival

  • Rentals: check-in from 4:00 pm. Inventory check to be completed within 48 hours (after this period, no claims).
  • Pitches: check-in from 3:00 pm.

During the stay
Campers are responsible for monitoring their personal belongings. The campsite declines all liability for incidents falling under the camper’s civil liability. All guests must comply with the internal rules. The booking holder is responsible for any disturbance or nuisance caused by persons staying with them or visiting them.

Departure

  • Rentals: check-out before 10:00 am on the day of departure. The accommodation must be returned perfectly clean. An inspection may be carried out; any broken/damaged item is chargeable to the client. The security deposit is returned, minus any compensation (itemised invoice).
  • Cleaning fee if accommodation not cleaned: €89 or €99 incl. VAT (according to current tariff).
  • Optional end-of-stay cleaning (on request): €79 or €89 incl. VAT (according to current tariff).
  • Late departure: an additional night at the current rate may be charged.

9) Rules of Use

  • Smoking: all rentals are non-smoking.
  • Barbecues: all barbecues are prohibited throughout the campsite (electric, gas, charcoal) for safety/fire reasons. A communal plancha is available.
  • Electric vehicles (EV) charging: charging from accommodation or pitch sockets is prohibited. Dedicated charging stations are available on site; use only these, at the displayed rates.
  • Visitors – Additional day guests (no overnight stay): permitted under the responsibility of their hosts after declaring at reception, wearing a visitor wristband is mandatory, and paying the visitor fee upon arrival, regardless of time spent on site. Visiting hours: 10:00 am–8:00 pm.
    • Visitor parking: ONLY at the entrance car park.
      Any undeclared person will be expelled along with their host, without prior notice or refund.
      Visitor rate: €4.00 / person (day or half-day). Access to the aquatic area and lagoon is prohibited.
  • Pets: accepted subject to hygiene and safety rules.
    • Kept on a leash; prohibited in pools, sports grounds and playgrounds.
    • Valid vaccination record required.
    • Number & rate: max. 2 animals per rental or pitch, €6/night/animal.
    • Pets must not be left alone in the rental or on the pitch.
    • Category 1 and 2 dogs are prohibited.
  • Play & multisport areas: children remain under parental supervision.
  • Aquatic areas (pools & lagoon): unsupervised.
    • Reserved for campers.
    • Minors must be accompanied by an adult within the area.
    • Shower required before bathing.
    • Failure to comply: exclusion from the pool area, or from the campsite in case of refusal to comply.
  • Traffic & noise:
    • Speed limited to 10 km/h; pedestrians and cyclists have priority.
    • Parking only on your own pitch (not on neighbouring pitches, even if vacant).
    • Vehicles: 1 vehicle included per pitch/rental. 2nd vehicle: €5/night, subject to availability.
    • Barriers closed 11:00 pm–7:30 am: no motor vehicle traffic. For late arrivals, park at the entrance car park.
    • Use of sound devices: do not disturb neighbours. Horns prohibited.
    • Quiet hours: 11:00 pm–7:00 am. Night-time quiet must be respected for everyone’s peace.

10) Termination

If any one of these clauses is not fulfilled, the contract may be terminated as of right by the manager.
In the event of termination or expulsion, no refund will be made.


11) Internal Rules

The full internal rules are posted at the campsite entrance and available at reception. Every person staying at the campsite must be declared at the time of booking. Management reserves the right to expel, without notice or refund, any person who does not comply with the rules or who has failed to declare occupants / has provided false information.


12) Image Rights

You authorize Camping Sunêlia Le Séquoïa (and any person mandated) to photograph, record or film you during your stay and to use these images/sounds/videos on any medium (website, social media, presentation/promotion materials) for a period of 5 years, worldwide, free of charge. This authorization also applies to persons accommodated with you and will not harm your reputation. You may exercise your right to object at any time under the GDPR terms below.


13) Personal Data (GDPR)

Data collected during booking are processed by Camping Sunêlia Le Séquoïa for stay management, invoicing and, with your consent, marketing. In accordance with GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, you have rights of access, rectification, objection, restriction, erasure and portability.

You may exercise your rights by email or post to management, enclosing proof of identity. Some data may be retained to comply with legal obligations (accounting, safety).


14) Consumer Mediation

In accordance with Article L.612-1 of the French Consumer Code, any client may use a consumer mediator free of charge with a view to amicable resolution of a dispute.
